Intel HD (Bay Trail - Atoms and Celerons)
Intel advises upgrading to Intel approved Windows 10 products for the best user experience and support."
The driver is being provided as-is with no Intel support for any graphics issues found.
Note that Windows* 10 will alert you with a message if a driver is not digitally signed, but you can continue the installation. This driver will not be digitally signed for Windows 10, which means that it will not have been certified by Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). For reference, WDDM 1.3 features are available on Microsoft’s Web site.
*From Intel's website: "Microsoft Windows® 10 drivers for 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 4000 and 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 2500 will include support for Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 1.3.
If you are unable to play Minecraft on your current computer due to improper or nonexistent driver support, you have the following options: 1) Get a new computer 2) Add in a modern dedicated graphics card (if you are using a desktop) or 3) Install an operating system that your IGP has a driver for.If your IGP does not have a driver for the operating system you're using, you will not be able to play Minecraft (or any other game that requires a proper driver). If you're using an IGP that doesn't support it or a newer version, you will not be able to play Minecraft. If Minecraft currently does not require OpenGL 2.1, it will in the near future.I will break down generations of Intel IGPs and list the newest operating system supported by them and the supported OpenGL version. I will add more as time progresses.***ĭue to the massive amount of posts regarding Intel IGP (integrated graphics processor) driver issues recently, I decided to make this list so I don't have to type up an explanation for each thread. I have gotten through IGPs up to the low-end Broadwell chips.
